Actinium

Gerson, a figurine carved from cannel coal, is being exhibited as part of Actium, at OYOYO in Sapporo. The exhibition also features the work  by artists James Acord (USA), Shuji Akagi (J), Chim↑Pom (J), Karen Kramer (USA/UK), Cécile Massart (Belgium), Eva & Franco Mattes (USA), Thomson & Craighead (UK/Scotland). Curated by Ele Carpenter as part of the Nuclear Culture for Arts Catalyst (UK). It opens Sat 19 July 2014 and runs until Sun 3 August 2014.
